• Assess the areas of business risk and reduce this risk through effective implementation and monitoring of controls
• Develop annual internal audit plan for audit committee review
• Provide assistance during investigations, special audits
• Co ordinate and assist external auditors to ensure the auditing is performed based on the guidelines
• Participate in audit committee meetings
• Supervise overall planned internal audits
• Develop, implement and maintain internal audit policies and procedures as per the law
